The 2009 Belgian Code on Corporate Governance

}

Summary

The Belgian Corporate Governance Code 2009 ("2009 Code") is primarily intended for companies governed by Belgian law, whose securities are traded on a regulated market ("listed companies"). Because of its flexibility, the 2009 Code can also serve as a reference framework for all other companies. The 2009 Code is the second edition of the Belgian Corporate Governance Code and replaces the version published in 2004. The companies have thus reviewed their corporate governance and, where necessary, adapted their corporate governance practices and their Corporate Governance Charter to the new provisions of the 2009 Code.
