This Decree approves the Regulation for the management and final disposal of ordinary and special sludge and biosolids, which does not include wastewater from sanitary huts or mobile latrines, which must be treated and comply with the provisions of the Regulation on Discharge and Wastewater Reuse. This Regulation has the following objectives: 1) protect public health and the environment; 2) regulate the final disposal of biosolids from activities.
