Summary

The Governmental Ozone Committee (COGO) is created to execute the Program for the Reduction of the Consumption of Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer of the Dominican Republic. This Committee will have its headquarters in the Secretary of State for Agriculture, as the focal point for managing the protection of the ozone layer, and will also be made up of the Secretary of State for Industry and Commerce, the National Office of Meteorology, the National Institute of Environmental Protection and the General Directorate of Customs.
