Summary

This document presents an English language synopsis of the General Reporting Protocol and Reporting Guidelines document (the ‘Israel GHG Protocol’) that was prepared by a team from the Environment and Energy Cluster at the Samuel Neaman Institute (SNI) for national policy research at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. The work was conducted during 2009- 2010, as a joint project with the Israel Ministry of Environmental Protection. To aid with the process an expert working group was formed, representing all major sectors of the Israeli economy.
