Revised Cabinet Office Ordinance on the Disclosure of Corporate Affairs, 2014

In 2014 the Japanese Financial Services Agency (FSA) issued the revised Cabinet Office Ordinance for Partial Revision of the Cabinet Office Ordinance on Disclosure of Corporate Affairs (1973). The revision requires companies to disclose the number of board members by gender and the percentage of women among board members in their annual securities reports, and other reports as applicable. The revision applied to annual securities reports as of the fiscal year ending March 2015. Companies listed on the Stock Exchange issue their securities reports according to this regulation.
