Clean Industry Certificate (CIL), 1997
Clean Industry certification is for companies that demonstrate satisfactory accomplishment of legal requirements regarding environmental protection. The certification process involves the systematic and thorough review of company procedures and practices in order to assess the degree of compliance with regulated and non-regulated aspects of environmental management. Companies are expected to identify and disclosue potential risk situations, and to report preventive and corrective actions taken.
