The Stock Exchange of Thailand defines Corporate Governance as a set of structures and processes of the relationships between a company’s board of directors, its management and its shareholders to boost the company’s competitiveness, its growth and long-term shareholder value with taking into account the interests of other company stakeholders. The principles and practices are presented in five categories : 1. Rights of shareholders, 2. Equitable treatment of shareholders, 3. Role of stakeholders, 4. Disclosure and transparency and 5. Responsabilities of the Board.
