Summary
This Law determines the legal, economic and social bases of environmental protection. The purpose of the law is to ensure environmental safety in the field of protection of the ecological balance of the environment, prevention of harmful effects of economic and other activities on natural ecosystems, conservation of biological diversity and effective organization of the use of medicine. Additionally, this Law regulates the interaction of nature and society in order to improve the quality of the environment, the efficient use and restoration of natural resources, and the strengthening of legislation and regulations in the field of environmental protection.
