Summary
This regulation aims to ensure the appropriate management of solid waste to prevent health risks, protect and promote environmental quality and the welfare of citizens. It sets out specific requirements for the mining waste generators according to Art. 36. In addition, solid waste management companies (EPS-RS & EC-RS), and the district and regional municipalities that are directly providing solid waste services must submit to the health authority within their jurisdiction, their operator report detailing the waste managed during last month, using the form indicated in Annex 3 of this regulation.
