Summary

The Securitization of Act of 2004 provides the regulatory framework for securitization and granting for the purpose of exemptions from the operation of certain laws. Discussed in the Act are the following topics: special purpose entity, the servicer, tax and other related issues, secondary mortgage institution, rating system, and penal and miscellaneous provisions. The Securitization act also requires the servicer to submit periodic reports.
