Summary

The Code encorporates Slovene legislation, principles of business ethics and the internal Articles of the three institutions. The purpose of the Code is to specify corporate governance standards in Slovenia. The Code's provisions define more precisely the statutory provisions, present recommended standards for good and responsible governance of Slovene public joint-stock companies and summarize the regulations in force in order to make it easily accessible to both foreign and domestic investors. Primarily, the Code is addressed to public joint-stock companies.
