This document is concerned with an Act to provide for institutional and legal framework for sustainable management and development of water resources; to outline principles for water resources management; to provide for the prevention and control of water pollution; to provide for participation of stakeholders and the general public in implementation of the National Water Policy, repeal of the Water Utilization (Control and Regulation) Act and to provide for related matters.
