Summary

ASEAN Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors have agreed on the development of an ASEAN Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance. The Taxonomy will provide a common building block that enables an orderly transition and fosters sustainable finance adoption by AMS. It consists of two main elements: the Foundation Framework which is applicable to all AMS, and the Plus Standard with metrics and thresholds to benchmark eligible green activities and investments.
