Summary
This document is concerned with the Cairo Declaration where the representatives of member States of the League of Arab States (LAS), assembled in Cairo, the Arab Republic of Egyp, from 24-26 June 2013 for the Regional Conference on Population and Development in the Arab States, reviewed the implementation of the Programme of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD).It aims to commit to key actions and priorities to expeditiously achieve the goals and objectives of the ICPD beyond 2014 as well as the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the global development agenda post- 2015.
