Summary

The aim of this Environment and Social Framework (the Framework) is to: manage environmental and social risks and impacts in projects; manage operational and reputational risks of NDB and its stakeholders; mainstream environmental and social considerations into decision-making processes of all parties; and encourage the international good environmental and social practices in its operations and in doing so strengthen the country systems.
