Summary

The present report builds on progressive work on EbA and Eco-DRR in recent years, including a synthesis report on experiences with ecosystem-based approaches to climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction (CBD Technical Series No. 85) 6 developed pursuant to decision XII/20, which identifies lessons learned as well as gaps and challenges with the implementation of ecosystem-based approaches to climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction.
