Summary
The amended version of the Guide to Corporate Governance Regulations and Standards in Egypt issued in March 2011 was available in Arabic language only. Accordingly, this acted as a significant barrier to non-Arabic speaking researchers. The purpose of this document is to provide an unofficial translation of the Guide. The Guide includes an introduction, definitions, scope of implementation, discussion of apply or explain as the basis of implementation, and the regulations.
