Summary

This circular supersedes the 2019 Circular and sets out the SFC’s expectations with respect to how requirements under the SFC Handbook for Unit Trusts and Mutual Funds, Investment-Linked Assurance Schemes and Unlisted Structured Investment Products (“Handbook”) apply to SFC-authorized funds which consider climate change or green or ESG or sustainability factors (collectively, “ESG factors”) in their investment process.
