Bord Bia Origin Green Quality Assurance Scheme

Ireland Current 2012

Launched in 2012, Origin Green is the national sustainability programme for the Irish food and drink industry. The programme operates on a national scale, uniting government, the private sector and food producers, through Bord Bia, the Irish Food Board. Independantly verified at every stage, Origin Green enables Ireland's farmers and food producers to set and achieve measurable sustainability targets, reduce environmental impact and serve local communities more effectively.
