Communiqué on Corporate Governance Principles

It mandates companies listed on the Istanbul Stock Exchange to report in accordance with certain principles in their annual reports. These principles include human resources policy, responsibilities towards customers, suppliers and other stakeholders, code of ethics and social responsibility.

The communiqué of the Capital Markets Board of Turkey, published in 2003, revised in 2011. Annual reports need to include information on: "social rights and professional training of the employees and activities of corporate social responsibility in respect of the corporate activities that arises social and environmental results". Also, "Corporation shall be sensitive towards its social responsibilities and comply with the regulations and ethical rules with respect to environment, consumers, public health. Corporation shall support and respect the internationally recognized human rights. Corporation shall combat against any kind of corruption including embezzlement and bribery."
