Guide for due diligence in the supply chain

The NCP has appointed KPMG to develop the guide with the aim of putting into practice the due diligence guidelines of the OECD and to support companies, especially SMEs, to create a permanent system that allows them to evaluate and prevent the risk of negative impacts, targeting the supply chain.

Issuers have developed a number of initiatives for the promotion of sustainability among Italian SMEs related to social responsibility (CSR) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the OECD Guidelines. These include Due Diligence Guidelines for the Supply Chain, but also other guidance's: Promotion of the OECD Guidelines in the Textile Industry, and initiatives for enhancing the use of proposed CSR KPIs.
