The voluntary guidelines are the result of a program initiated, developed and commissioned by Bundesministerium für Verkehr, Innovation und Technologie (BMVIT). The development was also supported by: the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management; respACT - Austrian Business Council for Sustainable Development; the Austrian Federal Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Austrian Industry and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Economy and Labour.
