The Government of Colombia, through its investment promotion agency Procolombia, released its Legal Guide to Doing Business in Colombia, a public policy document guiding investors wanting to operate in the country. The guide recommends companies to adopt a CSR approach in order to improve their competitiveness. On page 152 onwards, they have included GRI as one of the tools to implement the government’s expectations with regards to CSR and responsible business behavior.
