Through the work of an inter-ministerial group, the French Action Plan is based on the 2013 CNCDH’s recommendations (National Advisory Commission on Human Rights) and on the works done by the National Platform for CSR in 2016. “This plan integrates the “Ruggie’s Principles” (protect, respect, remedy) with, for each of the 3 pillars, precise recommendations allowing companies to make visible their commitments to respect Human Rights and to report. updated 15/05/2016

The follow up and the evaluation of this National Action Plan for Human Rights and Businesses as well as the results of the engaged actions will be done by the National Advisory Commission on Human Rights (CNCDH), equated to an independent administrative authority, in compliance with the recommendations of a UN working group on businesses and human rights. Its mission will be to evaluate the policy implemented and will be subject of a periodic report.
