Zimbabwe Current 2015

The Code has been amended, sets out standard corporate governance structures and regulations, and now it also requires companies to produce sustainability reports using GRI or IIRC.

The Institute of Directors Zimbabwe and the Zimbabwe Leadership Forum and Standards Association of Zimbabwe Institute

Issuer notes

The Institute of Directors Zimbabwe and  the Zimbabwe Leadership Forum and Standards Association of Zimbabwe Institute partnered in 2009 to develop a national code.

More information

The scope is larger than the one of the Stock Exchange because it includes large companies but not only listed companies. There is also a smaller stock exchange in Zimbabwe that is also looking into introducing sustainability reporting policy – this stock exchange has smaller issuers in general.
