The Corporate Governance Guidelines for Companies Listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange

Philippines Current 2010

PSE has developed the Corporate Governance Guidelines for Companies Listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange. The Guidelines handbook was developed by PSE based on a review of internationally recognized corporate governance codes and it reflects the dynamics of the Philippine market. It is designed for benchmarking corporate governance practices and guiding companies in improving their respective standards and practices in corporate governance. The Guidelines handbook is composed of ten (10) main guidelines, with specific best practice recommendations under each guideline. GRI is exploring direct engagement opportunities with PSE to review the Guidelines and to expand their scope to cover economic, social and environmental issues and to include the element of public disclosure
