Summary

The Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange Public Limited Company Rules set out the required practices and behavior for companies listed on the stock exchange. Key to ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the stock market is corporate disclosure, which these listing rules stipulate. All listed companies are required to produce audited annual reports in accordance with the rules set by the Companies Act. In addition, listed companies are required to disclose how they comply with the Guidelines on Corporate Governance Practices by Public Listed Companies in Tanzania in their annual report.
